Her heart had been torn in twi. Tears rolled freely down her cheeks as she leaned againat the tree. Footsteps sounding from behind caught her attebtion,and she took in a deep shuddery breath before looking up at the approacher. Two coal black eyes filled with sorrow met her vivid blue pair and he hesitated until she attempted a smile before walking up to her. A long silence lingered between them before Sasuke stepped forward and rested his hand on her head.
"Shizako.....I...I wanted to say thank you for being there for Itachi when noone else was.....for nakibg his burden eadier to bear..."
She said nothing but stepoed forward and pulled the young uchiha into an embrace.
"He did the same for me,,,"
